Dorset Search Dogs is a charity assisting the Police, Coastguard and other Search and Rescue teams look for missing persons across the South, and we are proud to have the team back at Buckham Fair 2018.
The charity relies on generous donations from members of the public and local companies to enable them to perform such a critically needed service to our local community.
Their dedicated team of dogs, handlers and operational supports make themselves available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As members of Lowland Rescue, they also work closely with neighbouring Lowland Rescue Search Dog teams. All of the members are trained to levels specified by Lowland Rescue and each dog and handler is individually assessed to the high standards agreed by the Lowland Rescue Committee.
