Where to stay

Beaminster is a beautiful town in the heart of the Dorset County. Just over 6 miles from the nearest beach, Beaminster holds an abundance of history, art, nature trails, and more. In its history, Beaminster has been a centre of the manufacturing of linen and woollens, the raw materials of which were produced in the surrounding countryside.

A wonderful place to visit for everyone, Beaminster’s town square offers visitors a wonderful selection of shops where one can buy anything from locally-reared meats, to local arts and crafts, home goods, gifts, clothing, and more.

Buckham Fair is based in the hills surrounding Beaminster, and although it is walkable from the town centre, the 2 mile walk can be treacherous, and steep, in rainy weather. The farm itself doesn’t find itself on a main bus route, so visitors who do not have their own transport, need to be able to make alternative arrangements.

If you’re visiting the area, here’s a list of some of the local accommodation available to you. The following lists are based on Google Searches - and are there to assist with your accommodation search.
