Directions to Buckham Fair

From A35/ Bridport:

From the Bridport roundabout ( the main one with the garages on) take the 3066 to Beaminster.
You will go through Melplash – on arriving in Beaminster take the first right, b3163 (Whitcombe road). If you arrive in the square you have gone too far! Carry on this road for a few miles all the way to the end of the road where you will reach a crossroads signposted Evershot straight over, and Dorchester to the right. Go left here. Then take the first left which will take you to the fair. It will be clearly signposted from here.

From Yeovil/Crewkerne/A303:

Carry on through Crewkerne on the a 356 as if you were heading to Dorchester. Before you get to the crossroads (Evershot to the left) there is a turning to the right signposted Beaminster. Take this road and the fair will be clearly signposted from here.
NB: please do not take the a3066 through Mosterton as no access is allowed to the fair from this direction.

From Dorchester:

Take the A37 through Grimstone and then the a 356 to Crewkerne through Maiden Newton. Carry on for about 7 miles. You will pass the Rampisham and Hooke turnings. Keep straight until you reach the crossroads (Evershot to the right, Beaminster to the left). Take the next left and the fair will be clearly signposted.

Please note that we have a one way traffic direction in operation.
We will have a one way system from the a356.

No traffic will be allowed to enter the trade ground from the direction of Mosterton or Beaminster tunnel (A3066). There will be no access to the fair through Beaminster apart from Whitcombe road (b3163). Access only up white sheet hill.

Please follow directions and stewards on the day. Directions will be well signposted.
